Let’s go for an unforgettable journey. This really popular ebike ride will reveal you all about the historical Fortified City of Carcassonne. Cycling along with one of our hight-end electric bike, you will first wonder around the canal du midi and the Aude river banks. Then the medieval city will no longer hold any secret for you, accompanied by a local guide, he/she will lead you around this fantastic place, the oppotunity to relive centuries of amazing history.

07:15 am Départure, 1h00 minibus drive to joint the start of the tour.
Morning :
8:45am, 12 km ebike ride along the canal du midi, between Trèbes and Carcassonne. Then, will go for the ebike tour of Carcassonne, riding along the Aude river banks ang get some nice views of the medieval city.
10:15am you’ll meet with your guide to start the walking tour inside the medieval city of Carcassonne (2:00 hours)
Noon :
Lunch break, packed meal prepared by one Carcassonne caterer.
Afternoon :
13:30pm/2pm to 4:30pm access to the Comptal castle, free time in the city and/or St Louis Bastide
4:45pm 15km Ebike ride back to Trebes, passing by Cavayère Lake.
Back to Toulouse arround 19h30/20h

Suitability:
All our tours require mastery of the fundamentals of cycling, “Balance, Propulsion, Braking”.
In general, our courses are designed for everyday participants. You don’t need to be an experienced cyclist to ride with us, our instructors are there to guide you!
Level : Easy
The terrain is even, road, track or bike path without technical difficulties. You know how to cycle in a group, respecting safe distances and cohabiting with other road users.
Terrain :
Relatively flat route, frequently used to due its touristic attraction.
On the cycle track of the Canal du Midi, some portions are not surfaced and can be rendered less stable in inclement weather.
Baggage :
The bikes are equipped with a pannier bag, allowing you to carry your personal belongings during the day.

You can, of course, complement this as you wish by bringing additional food to suit your tastes during the ride.

What to pack:
Remember: All our bicycles are equipped with a side pannier bag, in which you can store your belongings.
- Water bottle, we provide water
- Clothes: A comfortable outfit, a fleece jacket, a waterproof windbreaker (essential, even in summer the descents can feel very cold). A change of clothes (optional, for your comfort on the return by minibus)
- Shoes: Closed-toe sneakers or trainers, (sandals, bare feet, high heels, or any other dress shoes are prohibited)
- Small Items: Sunglasses, sunscreen, camera, personal first aid
First Aid :
Your Guide will have a first aid kit.
Be sure to take all your personal medical prescriptions and advise your Guide.
